Community Outreach is a ministry of caring. A caring ministry makes visitors as well as members of the community feel loved, wanted, and needed. It is a testimony of Christ's love to everyone. As born again believers, we are concerned about the salvation of souls. That is our main priority. However, there are other areas that concern us. We must be concerned with the physical and emotional needs of the community, which are so often over looked. The Community Outreach Ministry seeks to address the total needs of society, as God leads us. Jesus displayed much compassion when confronted with the needs of humanity. It is that same compassion that gives us our motivation to assist others.
In 1991, Pastor Lambert established Ligths of the World, Inc. as the community outreach arm of Bethel Deliverance International Church. Lights of the World, Inc. was birthed out of love and a genuine desire to meet the needs of people in our surrounding communities. Lights of the World Inc. officially received its non-profit 501C3 status in 1997.
VISION Lights of the World, Inc.’s vision is to be an instrument in the hands of God by reaching our neighbors for Christ.
