EVANGELISM
Plant...Water...Harvest
At the core of Bethel Deliverance International Church is Evangelism. Pastor Lambert takes very seriously the great command put forth by Jesus, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20 KJV). It is his desire to see every member of Bethel actively involved in both formal and informal evangelism. This is accomplished through a wide range of evangelistic efforts and ministries.
FOLLOW-UP TEAM diligently seeks out on a weekly basis new and seasoned Christians in need of encouragement. This ministry focuses on members of the body of Christ who may be absent from fellowship.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY goes to various nursing homes to visit residents, providing companionship and a source of strength and hope.
PRISON MINISTRY ministers to men and women who are incarcerated throughout the Delaware Valley. This ministry works very closely with the penal system to insure that the spiritual needs of inmates are met.
STREET EVANGELISM takes the love of God and the gospel to where the people are at, ministering on the highways and byways. This ministry is committed to evangelizing and goes door-to-door witnessing and passing out tracks. This ministry also provides street services and Outreach Thrusts during the summer months. Outreach Thrusts consist of 100+ evangelistic teams focusing their efforts in a section of the city.
TELEPHONE EVANGELISM conducts telephone follow up with new converts assisting them in getting acclimated to their new Christian walk. This ministry provides answers to questions that the new convert might have and encourages them in their new walk.
WOMEN’S ALTERNATIVE NETWORK supports women in shelters through various programs.
WOMEN’S STREET EVANGELISM TEAM ministers in parks and various neighborhoods taking the love of God to women who may be involved in prostitution, drugs and other illicit activities. They provide encouragement and love by offering them Christ as an alternative.
